| Introduction | I took the signatory name yamaotoko (山男) since yama translates from Japanese as mountain and otoko is man. The translation means mountain man, woodsman, or alpinist. It's befitting to my lifestyle and my hobbies as I love nothing more than being outdoors playing in the forests and mountains of the world. Why Japanese? Well, after living there for six years I embraced the culture and have many fond memories from my time there. Yamaotoko is a reflection of myself. |
