| Introduction | I've been called a rocket scientist (OK, I do work in the rocket business and have degrees in Physics and Mechanical Engineering), but I'd rather be known as an engineer.. more practical than theoretical, and not limited to only rockets. One of my major interests is inventing, designing, building, and testing flying things -- all kinds of them. I'm currently working on custom modifications for a Moni motorglider, new propeller concepts, super-light composite tanks, a microlift sailplane/ hang glider, and devices for generating clean energy. My company, Compositex, Inc. (http://www.compositex.net) produces innovative composite structures and propulsion systems for all sorts of aerospace projects. I'm a not-frequent-enough pilot of hang gliders, sailplanes and ultralights. Last, but not least, I'm also a husband and father. |
