| Introduction | Geeta Desai graduated from SNDT Pune in 1985 and did her post graduation in Food Science and Nutrition in 1987 from SVT Mumbai. She has 29 years of experience, in the field of Diet & Nutrition . During this period she was associated with Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi as a Dietician and with Talwalkars Fitness Fellowship, Pune for ten years as Senior Dietician and Consultant. She has been a visiting faculty at Department of Food Science & Nutrition, S.N.D.T. College of Home Science and at the Department of Life Sciences, University of Pune. Currently, she is practising as a Diet Consultant and Nutrition Counsellor at AUNDH dealing with LIFESTYLE & WEIGHT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMES and THERAPEUTIC DIETS specializing in diets for Diabetes, Cardiac & Renal problems , Hypertension , Gout , Ulcers , Disturbed Lipid Profile , diets for Pregnant & Lactating mothers , Children. and also for Sportsperson. She has also devised diets for several sports persons , athletes, swimmers, golfers and bodybuilders which has helped to increase their stamina and performance. |
