Introduction	I am a K-6th grade elementary art teacher. I have almost completed my 1st year of teaching art. I love my job, my students, and my classroom. I am constantly looking for new ideas and different things to try with my classes. Most of my lesson plans are based on artists, techniques, and the elements, and principals of design. Through the mentoring program at my school I recently subscribed to Google Reader and found some amazing blogs by other art education teachers.... I have found many fun and inspiring ideas. I decided to start my own blog to share some of my ideas and my passion for art education. This should be an interesting process as I have no idea how a blog works but I am going to give it a shot!!
