| Introduction | I’m a mid 20's gal that is moving to Portland, OR. This is kind of a big jump for me considering I’ve never lived outside MN, but here I go! It should be interesting. I’ve chosen Portland mostly for the music scene, but there is also its climate (rain is better than snow and I won’t argue that fact with anyone!), the people, and the scenery. Watch as I learn about my new surroundings. |
| Interests | Singing, guitar, writing, art, drawing, painting, graphic design, live music, friends, family, anything new, old MST3K episodes, movies, books (when I find time for them), comedy, good beer, good wine, travel, watching entire seasons of my favorite shows on DVD, shopping. |
| Favorite movies | I’m about to open up and look like a total nerd so here goes! You’ve Got Mail (no teasing! It’s good!), Kill Bill, Sleepless in Seattle, Clerks, Clerks II, Dogma (obviously I like Kevin Smith), any of my fav shows on DVD are good (Seinfeld, Friends, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, MST3K, Will and Grace), I don’t know, I’m not too picky. There’s one thing I know…if it’s super cheesy or there is a rapper in it I probably won’t like it. |
| Favorite music | Almost everything! I love all sorts of different music. Everything from classical to blue grass to R&B. I have a special place for rock/acoustic kind of stuff, but really I like it all. UNLESS of course it’s Nickleback…NOT A FAN. I’m sorry. I can’t help it. It all sounds the same! |
| Favorite books | Honestly I don’t make enough time for this activity…I should. I’ll try harder. I swear! Let’s see, this year I read Wicked. Awesome. I also read The Three Chimpanzees (a non-fiction about evolution). Also a great and interesting read. |
