| Introduction | I'm weird. Not your typical, super strange weird, but more like the kind of weird that makes you think it might kind of be cool to be that weird. I'm a history nerd and a know-it-all. I like: good erasers, pieces of things that flawlessly fit together, when someone handwrites the perfectly rounded letter O, filling the dishwasher as if I'm playing Tetris, homemade iced coffee, my Rottweiler-Bassett Hound mix dog Roscoe, being carded at bars, listening to classic rock and hating on current popular music, searching for seashells and shark teeth at sunset, ordering things off eBay, tearing into crab legs and pretending I'm a burly Alaskan fisherman who eats with his hands, writing long introductions, and my jewelry line that I named after my great-great-grandmother. |

| Favorite books | I have a bookcase made of old, salvaged barnwood, filled top to bottom with colorful vintage and antique books whose spines are lose and pages are perfectly yellowed and leafed. I do not have time right now to read them all, but someday I hope to. |
