| Introduction | I've been in the Civil Engineering Industry for almost 20 years. I started out as a drafter and worked my way up to Project Engineer/Project manager. I'd spend every free moment digging deeper into the software starting with AutoCAD and moving on from there (softdesk, LandDesktop,...) and I always found myself ending up as a hyphenated CAD support and part time instructor. I then began beta testing for Autodesk testing new software such as the new fangled Civil 3D. Much like many others I wasn't thrilled with the first release (or 3) but due to project requirements started using it more and more. After spending so much time with the software I began to see the light and once again began instructing this time on Civil 3D. I then decided to embrace my fate and began working with an Autodesk reseller as their Civil support Solution Specialist. I started this blog because throughout my daily routine I started to notice that many questions were starting come up on a regular basis so I've decided to post common solutions to questions I feel people may be struggling with.
