| Introduction | The Vermodernist is run by Jen and Eric, two transplants to Vermont who started this blog to bring together Vermonters who have a passion and enthusiasm for all things mod, tiki, retro, and downright cool. We don't claim to be experts on mod culture and style or modern architecture, design or fashion, but we do have an insatiable appetite for all of the above and hope to use this as a forum to discuss it and find where these hidden treasures are accessible in Vermont and the surrounding areas. Eric is a photographer whose interest in all things mod and modern can be traced back to his first viewing of Quadrophenia and purchase of a Merc suit. Jen is a writer whose obsession with retro fashion was spawned by a childhood of being an "I Love Lucy" fanatic and living in a house always filled with music from the past.
