Introduction	I'm a former Irvington English and French teacher, returning this year as the Library Media Teacher. I'm also one of the Speech and Debate Coaches at Irvington, and I have an Advisory class. What does a Library Media Teacher do? We maintain a great library for everyone to use and help teachers and students find resources. But did you know we also work with teachers to plan lessons for classes on information literacy skills? For example, I help teach Internet research skills, how to avoid plagiarism, how to do MLA citations, Powerpoint, and more! That's why I'm a Library Media TEACHER. :) My secret confession? I'm a librarian, but I'm REALLY LOUD. Shhh...don't tell. Come visit the library anytime--for a book, some research, or a quiet place to study.
