Introduction	My favorite past time is gardening. I am on a tight budget and am always looking for ways to create a beautiful outdoor space with minimal money. I recycle, reuse and compost as much as possible. I moved to Florida from Ohio nine years ago. I have had some success with my gardening along with failure. In 2009 my garden was featured in a garden tour sponsored by Heathcote Botanical Gardens. The following year I moved and am starting over. This time around I want to avoid the mistakes from my past, like planting vines that grow and spread out of control. My former home had city water and a well fed irrigation system. This home is on a well with no irrigation system…unless you count me pulling the hose around. My goal with this blog is to get feed back and advice to help my garden grow while encouraging other homeowners to create an outdoor space where they can enjoy nature and gather family & friends.
