| Introduction | I can honestly say that I’ve dreamed of becoming a novelist for most of my life, since the age of twelve. I wrote what I thought was a novel then, eighty pages of the least believable teen romance ever constructed. I might have given up on that story, but I never gave up on the idea of writing. I’ve been carrying characters around in my head ever since. A few years ago, I took on the challenge of National Novel Writing Month at the suggestion of a friend and haven’t looked back. Since then, I've gotten serious about writing again. With a couple of "learning experiences" (otherwise known as rejected manuscripts) filed away, and new characters walking into my head all the time, I'm working full-time now toward seeing my words on the bookstore shelves. |
