| Introduction | When you think the Universe has taken everything from you, you may learn to listen to your "Inside Voices". Some are open to such voices, and some dismiss them with a flippant flick of their hand, as if the taps on their psyche, were an annoyance. Sometimes, all we need is a heavy dose of courage, openness and humility, to listen. And I mean, REALLY listen. I've lost almost everything I have. A handful of diseases and disorders have taken me out of the workforce, and often throw me to the floor. It was 'down there', that I learned how to shut out the pain, and hear the message. Now I write. Whether or not you agree or can associate with what I write, is immaterial. A lot of people don't wanna hear someone's truth, let alone their own. And when you read something of worth to you, you're connecting..... you are finding yourself drawn in by your own experiences and pains and passions and desires! And that's what I hope to do, here and in my books, yet to be published. I ask and challenge you to either go along or come along, for the ride. Open your mind and heart, and hopefully along the road we'll both learn something new. Welcome to My Inside Voice. |
