| Introduction | I've pretty much been a journalist all my life but I traded in my press pass for a student ID in August 2009 to begin a three-year plunge of law school. I doubt you'll ever beat the reporter out of me, especially the mind of a cops/courts reporter, but it'll be nice to get to see what's in those sealed documents and be the one doing something in the courtroom rather than observing. I hope to someday be a prosecutor handling the big cases and making narrative opening statements like only a former reporter can. But first I have to make it through law school. The first year is down so I'm one-third of the way there! Not counting the bar exam ... but I'll worry about that in 2012! |
