| Introduction | Hello my friends! I’m Mercia Silva, from Brazil. I’m 34 years old, but because I have returned to college, I feel 10 years younger. I have one daughter, her name is Tarsila and in December she is coming to the United States to stay with me until July 2007. She is so beautiful and sweet and I miss her a lot. In 1999 I got my degree in Sociology and in 2003 I defended my Master’s thesis in political science. I arrived in the United States on April first 2006, and I started learning English. |
