Introduction	I am a fifth generation farmer, who loves the land, animals and all of God's creation. I have lived in the Midwest, except for nearly 10 years of my life. Our family lived in the Willamette Valley in western Oregon from 2001 to 2010, when we moved back to the Midwest. I had a small homestead of our own in Oregon. We raised a few cows, milked goats, managed a small family orchard and grew our own garden. I am a firm believer in sustainable farming practices, intensive grazing, low stress livestock handling, and good old fashioned responsible living. We currently own and manage our own homestead in central Indiana using the principles that we teach. We raise heritage chickens, beef & pork. Our land gives us the opportunity to harvest forest products like maple syrup, timber and firewood. We do as much of our heavy work with our teams of oxen but the tractor still gets used when necessary!
