| Introduction | I am a Polish-American who is so proud of her ethnicity and herritage; that it elated me to the point of pure joy to know I was elligable for Duel Citizenship under the fact that my parents had survived Communist Collective Farms during WWII. It gave me a renewed interest in both history and food; especially foods from around the world...I often make my mother giggle because I jokingly apologize that italian is my favorite food... Within the past two or so years; I've even had the honor of the acquaintanceship of three very good chefs; one I work for at Sauder Village in Archbold, OH. The other two I have only talked to through blogging and emails; but I would be quite honored to meet them some day; especially because their food; and their overall presence seem quite exciting and I would love a chance to try it some day. Otherwise I am a quite simple woman; wife of 20 years; mother of a 17 year old young man; and Navy veteran of the Gulf War...I am interested in many things; and love a long thought provoking conversation... |
