| Favorite books | I have just completed writing a book called Hurihanga Takapau: Redemption of the Fallen. A big thank you to STRATEGIC BOOK PUBLISHING & RIGHTS AGENCY for working with me to publish my book. Hurihanga Takakpau is a ritual traditionally performed when Māori warriors returned from battle and required the tapu / hara on them to be removed. This book is aan autobiography as well as a three chapter chronicle that is an evaluation and a critical analysis/ critique of some personal historical encounters. It is a journey of transparency that highlights some bleak moments. However it also highlights the overcoming of adversities and catalysts for creating transformative action to move from one paradigm to another. |
