Favorite music	Jazz, Swing, Blues, Techno/Trance/Progressive, Metal, and Rock.
Favorite books	Too many to list. In politics: much of Marx, Plato's Republic, Guns Germs and Steel, Chomsky's Manufacturing Consent. In terms of fun: Steven Erikson, Dan Simmons, Richard Morgan, William Gibson, Neil Gaiman, and others.
