Introduction	Kate is currently pursuing an MD and a PhD at the University of Michigan. She first tried blogging during her year in Switzerland, where she did biomedical research at the Université de Genève. At Pomona College, Kate earned a BA in Environmental Analysis and plans to go on to combine her passion for statistics and medicine through studies of environmental determinants of health. Besides math and science, she enjoys wrestling with Labradors, conversing in French, and running long distances.
