| Introduction | Finished my bachelors degree in Art Practices August of 2012 and a masters degree in Educational Leadership and Policy with a specialization in Post Secondary Adult and Continuing Education in 2014. Professionally I'm interested in creating culturally responsive curriculum for Native American/Alaska Native youth and adults in formal and non-formal learning environments. I love the intersection of art, learning/teaching, and Indigenous cultures and ways of knowing. In my creative process I'm interested in using iconic Native American images or objects in different ways to illustrate political or historical themes, truths (as I see them), and experiences. I also love to use different art mediums to capture the people and world around me. I enjoy making art with friends and giving away art is a way for me to show my love and gratitude to others. |
| Interests | I am very active in the Native Community and my culture/heritage is important to me. I love art work, writing, nature and other positive forms of self-expression. Art Mediums: photography, film, animation, painting, sculpture, book making, jewelry making, a bit of drawing, basket weaving (plateau/great basin twill style), etc. |
