| Introduction | Howdy! My name is Maylin Molina,I'm 23 years old. I was born and raised in Cuba but I moved to Texas back in 2010. I really like it here! I love a good steak! :) According to the political ideology quiz, I'm a New Coalition Democrat. As part of a minority group, I agree with most of the Democratic Party ideas. I was pleased with the quiz result, even though I believe it takes more than a few questions to define a political ideology. I'm not able to vote as a green card holder; but I hope to participate in the 2016 elections if I can finalize my naturalization process. I need to take this Texas Government class because it is a requirement for my major but I also hope to become a more informed citizen. It is quite nice to compare the way things work over here in contrast to the way they do in Cuba. I didn't do all that great on the Texas General Knowledge or Texas Political Knowledge quizzes. I got 6 or 7 answers right. Shame on me! |
