Introduction	I have long thought that I would end up at some university teaching Francophone literatures, having studied French lit. and linguistics undergrad, took PhD level coursework at the French Dept. at NYU, received a DEA in Comp. Lit. from Paris III, and have a partial dissertation in a desk drawer (actually floppies!); yet I had a career in IT and a CTO job, in the end. And "Berber" in all of this? Well it is my first language; the flavor of it spoken in the Ghris Valley around Goulmima (Morocco). My texts and translations in Rusted Radishes, Tamazgha Studies Journal, Words Without Borders
