Introduction	I'm just your average mommy seamstress! Things you should know before quilting with me... I like things SIMPLE; if you are a novice quilter but already know how to sew please for the love of Pete stay here- you do belong; on the previous note I won't be explaining basic sewing techniques- if you aren't familiar with words like "seam allowances" please have your Google fingers ready or come back later once there's a tad of sewing under your belt; I like things well done but am a recovering perfectionist; I may not tell you how to do things in the 'traditional quilting manner' but it works for me so take it, leave it, or share your own shortcut; I don't count hair widths I'd rather square things up when all is said and done; rather than trying to explain some key basics myself I will link you to the sites where I learned the techniques from; I'm not a fan of quilt appliqueing and much prefer piecing even if it is more difficult; I just got a new camera but I'm not a photographer. Consider yourself advised on all accounts and enjoy a relatively laid back approach to not your grandmother's quilts.
