| Introduction | I work at a resort here in the valley. I have a degree in psychology. I am originally from New Jersey and have lived in several places, mostly on the east coast. I have a great family whom I miss and do not see often. I also have a great guy who some of you may know. His name is Darrell. He is the one who told me about this great site! I have an adorable dog guide named Dougie, who is very smart and playful! I also have a few close friends, old friends I have known awhile and some new whom I met online. I enjoy writing, mostly journaling and also want to help others, mostly people with disabilities. This is an excellent platform to express my thoughts on how to improve the lives of everyone. I would like to change society's attitudes about people with disabilities & help others improve their quality of life. Everyone's voice can and should be heard! We can truly change what it "means to be blind" as well as, one day, perhaps decades from now, create a peaceful world & resolve some of the world issues such as terrorism, hunger and abuse! I hope that some of the things posted on this site can make a significant difference. |
