Introduction	I live in the wonderful Peak District of Derbyshire with my husband. I love to cook, create and basically indulge my passion for food. Nothing gives me more pleasure than a day in the kitchen with the company of the radio and my trusty KitchenAid. I'm lucky enough to live in a town which, despite the presence of the usual supermarket chains, still retains the traditional butcher, greengrocer, baker and deli (sadly no fishmonger any more) which I use as much as I can. My styles of cooking are varied, from elaborate fine dining to the Nigel Slater approach of looking at what is in the fridge and cupboards and rustling up something either familiar or a variation on an old favourite. Please note that any recipes that I post on this blog are my own. Where I use other peoples' or the inspiration from them for my own variations, I will always ensure that they receive the credit that is due.
