| Introduction | I am an independent journalist and researcher, from Egypt. I studied mass communication at the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University. I have been working in journalism regularly since 2012, as well as previous experiences since I was a university student. My reports and investigations focused on issues of women, immigration and refugees especially Sudanese refugees in Egypt. I also produced a number of reports and investigations based on field work in rural Upper Egypt. My work has been honored and supported by national and international organizations, such as: Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Article Writing Award, 2011), European Union (First Prize in the European Union Migration Media Award for the year 2019, Online Arabic Category), ICFJ (International Center for Journalists, based in USA), and other. In addition to learning and developing through work, the courses I attended in journalism, and other related fields, especially from international media organizations or important universities, have greatly enriched me. I always look forward to learning more and achieving more in journalism, through work and training. |
