About me

Location Lexington, Massachusetts
Introduction When Zach was 12 years old, his parents consulted a prominent acupuncturist from Taiwan, who recognized Zach’s potential and suggested a future career in acupuncture. At 15, Zach spontaneously developed an awareness of Qi moving through his body and discovered an ability to control its movements through his hands. Since that age, he has been a lifelong student of Qigong, martial arts, and dance. He began his formal study of craniosacral therapy, acupuncture, and chinese herbal medicine in 1996 at New England School of Acupuncture, and started his private practice in 1999 at the age of 26. He has been on faculty at New England School of Acupuncture and Boston School of Shiatsu and Complementary Therapies. Zach is passionate about teaching, and currently offers private classes and mentoring for acupuncturists in the Boston area and online. He also guest lectures and serves as an international advisor on health concerns. In addition to his acupuncture and herbal degrees, Zach holds a B.A. in psychology from Wesleyan University and has completed masters level study in anatomy and kinesiology.
