| Introduction | Despite not being a die-hard follower of fashion, Caroline Mead has found it difficult to escape her professional history. Until recently she wrote a column in The Weekend Australian Magazine, Style Mistress, until a fascination with crime sent her back to university to study law. Prior to falling prey to the challenges of motherhood, Caroline was launch editor of The Australian newspaper’s luxury glossy monthly magazine, Wish; acting associate editor of The Weekend Australian Magazine; and deputy editor of interiors title, Inside Out. She endured being managing editor of the now departed women’s fashion glossy magazine ELLE, style editor for GQ and beauty editor for recently defunct New Woman – all after completing her cadetship with Ragtrader, the fashion industry newspaper. She loves to travel, is an excellent packer and is acutely aware of the need for flight-friendly clothing. |
| Favorite movies | Too many, but Mamma Mia is my current feel-good flick. Not least of all becuase it is on permanent playback, courtesy of my 7 year old. High School Musical 3 is also gaining in credibility as I learn to sing along with the 2 year old - boy. |
