| Interests | This is a work blog. The Exchange Program to California is sponsored by LGMA with support from the League of California Cities, San Jose and Warringah Council. The topic of research is Improvement, Innovation & Change This is a fitting time for local government to investigate innovative approaches to services. Councils face increasingly complex issues such as: changing demographics; changing and more challenging community and business expectations; pressures to increase and improve services and increasing fiscal restraints and the topic of Reform. Local governments need to find new ways to ‘do more with less’ My study topic is INNOVATION. I aim to find creative opportunities to elicit BOLD approaches to developing, adapting or improving processes and services within councils |
