| Introduction | A South India-based journalist. Writes extensively for The Telegraph, Huffington Post, Mongabay India, thew News Minute, Quartz and Kochi Post. Worked earlier as Special Correspondent of The Hindu daily in Palakkad and Kochi.. Worked earlier with The Times of India newspaper in Coimbatore and Open Magazine in Chennai. Was Senior Correspondent with Tehelka weekly in New Delhi and in Thiruvananthapouram. Started journalism as a career with The New Indian Express in 2000 and was its correspondent in Kalpetta, Kannur, Kozhikode and Bangalore. Studied at Government Upper Primary School at Kallinkara, Government Model High School at Cheeral, Zamorin’s Guruvayurappan College in Kozhikode, Kerala Press Academy in Kochi and Alagappa University in Karaikudi. Has MA in Personnel Managment and Industrial Relations and PG Diploma in Journalism and Communications. winner of Sanskriti National Journalism Award 2007. Won National Media Fellowship from National Foundation for India in 2005 for Excellence in Journalism. Writes in both English and Malayalam |
