Introduction	I've spent a total of 20 years (and counting) in the bar/restaurant business, working every position from busboy and dish washer, to bartender and general manager. As much as I try to leave the business, I find that it's just what I do, and what I love. My particular love is for the bar, or taverns, saloons, pubs, etc. They're gathering places for friends and families, and I'd venture to guess that the majority of the decisions made throughout history has been made over a drink, in some form of a "watering hole." I'm not suggesting I'm an expert on the topic, but I do have a passion for the business, and whether it's just a great new hot spot, a tiny neighborhood dive, a great drink or a wonderful personality discovered while out somewhere, I want to use this blog as the forum to make the masses more aware. Maybe you'll see a place you've been going in a whole new light, and maybe you'll find a new one to love.
