Introduction	According to the Political Typology quiz, I am a Mainstream Republican. However, I am atypical in that I voted for Obama. It is unimportant to me which party the potential President belongs to as long as he can run the country and address the issues facing the country at the time of election. I am taking US Government, honestly, because I have to in order to complete my BSN in nursing. Although I hope to learn more about how the nation is run and who runs it. According to the Current Events quiz, I know more than 56% of the population with 7 out of 11 answered correctly. I hope to improve this score by the end of the class. My parents claim to be Republican, but are not involved in politics at all. They didn’t vote for the last President. My husband is very political and most of my views probably come from listening to his ongoing commentary on politics.
