| Introduction | We've been married for 5 years! We met here in Rexburg, Idaho where we lived in the same apartment complex, volunteered with similar church callings, and attended the same university. It was only a matter of time before we'd bump into each other! Kelly graduated with her bachelors in psychology and has since been working with mentally ill adults and children. She has been accepted to Drexel Univeristy for her Masters in Higher Education Administration and Organizational Management. Sam recently graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with his bachelors in English Literature. We've had so much fun and so many growing experiences in the past 5 years, and have weathered so much good and bad during our young marriage. And we love each other so much more as a result of the happy and sad experiences that we have gone through hand in hand with each other and with the Savior. Our life is a simple one, but it's ours and we're glad to have it. |
| Interests | Sam and Kelly both enjoy literature, art, history, discussions on religion, and cultural exploration. Also enjoy hiking, sports (soccer, swimming, softball, ultimate frisbee, and floor hockey), watching movies, and spending time together laughing. |
| Favorite Movies | LOTR trilogy, Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Spiderman movies, Galaxy Quest, Star Wars, Akeelah and the Bee, Awakenings (Kelly looooves this one), Four Feathers, Pride and Prejudice, and many more. |
| Favorite Music | Sam: 311, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Angels and Airwaves, Reliant K, CCR, and many, many more. Sam really likes punk, but also enjoys rock, alternative, oldies, and classical. Kelly: Pop, R&B, Techno/Dance, Country, Rock, Oldies, some Alternative, Punk (a little since being with Sam), Contemporary Christian, and New Age (Enya and Jim Brickman). Basicly we love music and while our interests really vary, we come together quite a bit on fave songs :) |
| Favorite Books | We are on a classical kick right now. Sam recently finished Dorian Grey and Jekyll and Hyde. He's taking a break from classics to read the Invisible Man. Kelly is reading Jekyll and Hyde while putting aside Count of Monte Cristo for a spell. Books that we both enjoy: several of the classics, the Hobbit, C.S. Lewis' sci-fi trilogy and Narnia chronicles. Kelly's Faves: Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Mitch Albom's For One More Day, and many more. Sam's Faves: Biography and religious books, C.S. Lewis books, HP, LOTR, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and also many more. |
