Introduction	Barbara is the daughter of Robert and Mary Jane Etzel and was born in Topeka, Kansas. She began this blog to share the family history with other family members that her parents, and others, have collected over the years. She also is profoundly amazed that our ancestors survived what had to have been very difficult times from moving from Russia and Ireland and Scotland as poor immigrants to surviving in Kansas at the whims of Mother Nature.
