Introduction I'm Travis and this is my blog about stuff I do in my free time, or at least the subset of things I do in my free time that I thought others might find interesting. I work as an engineer at the Air Force Test Center in California and am currently working on the Automatic Air Collision Avoidance System (Auto ACAS) for the F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft. I've got three kids that are probably my most time intensive hobbies and a few chickens in the backyard which I devote considerably less time to (I always think it's funny to group children and livestock into the same sentence if possible). I've become a little bit obsessed with Arduino microprocessor programming and I spend a lot of time thinking about all the new things I can do with this power and capability at my fingertips, [insert evil laugh here, 'Mwahahaha-ack! Kah! Cough! Dang it! I'll keep practicing...']. Some of those projects actually get made when life permits me time to devote to them. Herein lies the blog. Drop me a line if you have a great idea for a project, want some help on an existing one, or want to guest post something awesome you've done. Happy Tinkering!
