| Introduction | Ciara's adventurous soul has been fueled by a 20 year career in critical care nursing/teaching on three different continents. In 2004 following her heart and lifelong desire, Ciara began a career as a self taught artist. Her various evening/weekend classes and workshops were put to good use as she embarked on a formal Art and Design diploma for which she gained a merit in 2009. Ciara’s work can be found in private collections in Sydney, Tokyo, Dubai, Amman, Lausanne, Göteberg, Malmö, Ottawa, Seattle, New York, Chicago, London, Dublin and Belfast. Her love of teaching is maintained by running various adult and children’s art classes for budding artists aged 5 to 80 years old. Maintaining she is still a student herself and the philosophy of life long learning her artistic journey and development continues. |
