| Introduction | Photography went from a hobby to a passion for me in December of 2006 when I got a NikonD80 right before Christmas. Since then I've been taking pictures of just about everything and learning along the way. Since I don't travel much at this stage of life (busy raising my 3 children), most of my shots will be from in or around my home and/or nearby parks. I find I'm drawn to nature photography and while learning photography, I've learned quite a bit about the flora and fauna in my area. And even more importantly, photography has shown me the detail and beauty of God's creation and I continually stand amazed and blessed at this wonderful world God has given us. I also post shots over on Flickr. I have found it to be a wonderful community and have learned so much from my Flickr contacts. There's a link in this profile to my photostream on Flickr.
