| Introduction | I am a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and have taken several Master courses in Counseling. My life plan was to pursue a Masters in Social Work, however, after breastfeeding three babies, now 7 years old, 5 years old and 14 months old, My passion and purpose have changed. I knew I had to be committed to breastfeeding to succeed, but I didn't expect to need so much help. I realized pretty quickly that I wanted to help other mothers. Now, my favorite thing is to see a precious nursing baby and a relieved mommy. I have a grand total of 64 months (and counting) breastfeeding experience. |
