| Introduction | My home page is: www.markwayneadams.come By profession I am an Illustrator and Author of children's books. Visiting the library as a boy, sparked my appreciation of books. Most everything I learned about drawing and writing came from a library book. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drawing, I moved to Clermont, Florida. Here I not only worked for Walt Disney World and SeaWorld, but also managed a commercial printing company. For the past five years, I've given presentations to schools, published books, and illustrated other authors’ children's books. My most recent illustrated books are: “Nicholas, That’s Ridiculous!” by Christa Carpenter- Maitland, FL; “Lu and the Earth Bug Crew, Zap teh Energy Spikes” by Derek Sabori, Costa Mesa, CA; “The Belly Button Fairy” by Bobbie HInman, 2007 Independent Publisher of the Year award winner Author. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Angela, two children, Isabella, 9 years old and Carter, 7 years old, and our two dogs, Blu and Russell. I also builds furniture, create custom large format paintings, swim, and visit the library at least once a week. |
