Introduction Diane Meredith Belcher has been a professional organist and choral director for over 30 years. An internationally renowned concert artist, she has performed at many of the country's most prestigious halls and churches since her debut at age fifteen. She is known for her collaborations with such musicians as trombonist Joseph Alessi, The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, The Memphis Boychoir, and the Buxtehude Consort, and she has been soloist with several major orchestras including Philadelphia, Jacksonville, Syracuse, and Memphis. A graduate of The Curtis Institute of Music and The Eastman School of Music, she serves as Director of Music/Organist at St. Mary Star of the Sea in Beverly, Massachusetts. Prior positions include Saint Mark's, Philadelphia, Christ Church, Philadelphia, Old St. Paul’s, Baltimore, Park Central Presbyterian, Syracuse, the University of Pennsylvania, Westminster Choir College, and the University of Memphis. She has composed a small body of choral and organ works, and has a particular interest in mentoring young musicians. Ms. Belcher is represented by Karen McFarlane Artists.
