I am passionate about seeing and experiencing the multiplex, manifest, and manifold ways that people subtly perceive meaning and come to define who they are, what they stand for, and what drives them to be movers, shakers, and madmen. I love cultural ingenuity, ambition amidst adversity, and transnational dialogue. Mostly, I love a good hearty laugh, a delicious meal, and the little things, like a flower-weed emerging from a concrete sidewalk. I received a masters from an Ivy and pursued my PhD in Religion, Culture, and Globalization, teaching at three universities in two states, before becoming an itinerant traveler.
