I try to summarize my reflections in this blog whenever I have free time: maybe some of you will find it useful; maybe you will point out the errors of my ways, but it is worth the effort in any case. Some of these postings became papers in peer reviewed publications; some have been implemented in production in different places; some are just thoughts that I would like to implement if given the opportunity.
