Introduction	I was a freelance film (avid) editor on several TV shows before I had a baby and nearly died of a rare pregnancy related complication, HELLP Syndrome, that gave me a stroke, required emergency brain surgery (among other interventions) and put me in a 3 week long coma. Writing about that illness & recovery and raising my daughter are my current occupations. One day I hope to resume editing as it was a profession that I loved.
Interests	Independent Film, Horseback riding, Photography, Nonfiction Writing, Poetry.
Favorite movies	The Celebration, The English Patient, The Piano (anything literary and gloomy, LOL.)
Favorite music	U2, The Beatles, Van Morrison, too many others to list.
Favorite books	About a million. I love the poetry of Sharon Olds, Czeslaw Milosz and Robert Hass who translated him as well as Galway Kinnell, Lynda Hull and Mark Doty. I also love the novels of Toni Morrison and Michael Ondaatje. Memoirs I like: "Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl," "Breaking Clean," Mark Doty's "Heaven's Coast."
