Introduction	An assault by myeloma gave me acute renal failure over Christmas 2010, and I spent a busy year in 2011 not responding to medication in spite of the best efforts of ace doctors and nurses at Gloucester Royal. I appear to have stabilised on my current medication which is fortunate as it's the last option available. I've had to retire on grounds of ill health, and seem to have added knitting to hospital visits as an official activity.
Interests	Herbs, gardening, food, knitting, drawing, card making. Have recently taken to drawing (pencil and chalk pastel) and water colours.
Favorite music	Egyptian and African dance and rock, West Gallery, Early music
