Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?
I have a +2 to Charisma and Performance checks. Assuming I don't fail my roll, I can carry a tune well enough without an instrument. Also, I can choke my opponent with my bow while manipulating bowstring tension to create a makeshift string instrument. If I crit my roll, I can assassinate my target while convincing the crowd that this is all part of the performance. That's show biz, baby.
