Introduction	I've created this blog for friends who love to cook, eat, explore new and different flavors. At one point or another, you've asked me for recipes on the Lao dishes I've made. So here it is, all in one place... These dishes are modified to my taste from my parents 'recipes,'as well as ones I've created. In actuality there is no such thing as exact measurements in Lao cooking. Each ingredient is added, in whatever quantity, according to your personal taste. Spices/sauces are an approximation. So feel free to tweak it to your liking. After all cooking is about experimenting right? And heaven knows, I've had to dump many an inedible dish, in the process, discovering a new way to cook it. Also, I'm adding recipes from friends whose table I've had the pleasure of dining at. DISCLAIMER: I am not a professional chef or writer, so bear with me as I wade through the treacherous waters of food writing.
