| Introduction | I’m an illustrator, designer and book artist living in Edinburgh. I have set up this blog to chart the process of my new children’s book project: Edinburgh Cats. The narrative of the book will chart a walk around the city and will introduce readers to its features and felines through text and illustrations. I am keen to base the book on the real feline stars of the city and have sent out an appeal to the city’s inhabitants for cats big and small, young and old, fat and thin, pedigree and moggie, to get in touch! My first children’s book An A to Z Treasure Hunt was published by the Tate in September 2007, and I am currently working on my second title, a counting book based on birds due for publication in 2009. I work full time as a self employed illustrated where the visits from my neighbours cats provide welcome company when I’m working from home! |
