| Introduction | Marina Safikou was born in Athens. She studied painting with John Valavanidis and mosaic with Dafni Angelides, at the School of Fine Arts, Athens University, from 1997 to 2002 and graduated with honors. She teaches art at the secondary school and believes that teaching is not an inhibiting factor in the evolution of art, but every day is a new life experience. Her life dream is to visit places all around the world and discover the unique "landscape" of each place. Marina’s Safikou work appears in many private collections and in the Port Passenger Terminal of Lavrio. |
