Introduction I am the author of three books of poetry: GUIDE TO GREECE AND BACK (Lycabbetus Press), THE MUSHROOM PAPERS (Northwoods Press), and SPARE PARTS: A Novella in Verse (Turning Point)with a fourth book to appear in 2011, THE ARTEMIS SONNETS, ETC. (Turning Point). I have two chapbooks: AESOP'S EAGLES AND POEMS FROM THE ROAD (Northwoods Press) and UP FROM THE ROOT CELLAR (Cervena Barva Press). My essays and poetry have appeared in U.S. and Canadian journals, such as TriQuarterly, Painted Bride Quarterly, Connecticut Review, Antigonish Review, and Poet Lore, as well as in several anthologies and at sites on line. I have an MFA in poetry from Fairleigh Dickinson University and am a member of the Poetry Board at the Folger Shakespeare Library, Washington D.C. I am also the co-author of AT HOME IN ATHENS (with Beth Kolehmainen) and editor of the soccer anthology: SOCCER ZONES: Writings out of American Soccer.
