| Introduction | I'm a midwest lady who grew up on a dairy farm but now live in the city. I spend much of my time advocating for clients who support a sustainable food system that provides safe, wholesome, abundant and affordable food for the world. My husband is my everything - a playful spirit, an incredible supporter, my personal song-writer and my perfect match. In July of 2009, our world was turned upside-down... for the better. We expanded our family from two canines, named Franklin and Parker, to include another little being... this time, a homosapien - Calista Bella. So that's what this blog is about. It's a set of entries that spell out the journey of our family - and hopefully for you as well as a reader. |
| Favorite music | I love music with big beats and catchy rhythms as much as I like ballads and a good old fashioned song from mom's "era." Black Eyed Peas, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Rhianna, Justin Timberlake, and Britney Spears (yes, I admit it) are all on my playlist. |
